STRATEGIC POLICY WORK

 

Women and Family Health Initiative recognises that community empowerment must be matched with increased awareness of how regional policies impact on local health.  We work to build community capacity in local planning and policy by creating partnerships with statutory health organisations and supporting community representatives within these partnerships.  Through community and statutory work we promote a social model of health to improve length and quality of life.
